Divine Dezign was created to spread awareness of the rare disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy(DMD), affecting mainly young boys across the world. The designs for Divine Dezign were created from the artworks of a little boy Dezi Mendoza, who was diagnosed with the disease in July 2022. Now we are using the product proceeds to put towards research and treatment!

Dezi was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a severe genetic disease that prevents his body from producing the protein needed to rebuild and stabilize muscles, affecting his ability to move, as well as his heart and lung function. With the support of Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy and ongoing research, Dezi has access to groundbreaking treatments, including a clinical trial for exon-skipping therapy and an FDA-approved gene therapy. While these treatments offer hope, they are not a cure, and continued efforts are needed to support research for Dezi and others living with DMD. We are deeply grateful for the advancements thus far and hope new treatments are capable of allowing Dezi to live a normal life.
